On November 21, at the Conference on commending social security activities in Vinh Long province and celebrating the 100th birthday anniversary of the late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet, Sovico Group and HDBank have donated a total of VND6.5 billion for building 100 ‘great solidarity houses’ in Mang Thit and Vung Liem Districts and for supporting "Pham Hung – Vo Van Kiet" Study Promotion Scholarship Fund

The event was witnessed by Mr. Vo Van Thuong - Politburo member and Permanent Member of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat and other senior leaders during their working visit to the locality.

In April 2022, on the occasion of the President Nguyen Xuan Phuc's business trip, HDBank donated a total of VND5.2 billion to build digital libraries and support the Study Promotion Funds at educational institutions in Tien Giang and Can Tho provinces.

These are a continuation of the charity activities that HDBank has been undertaking for many years in the Mekong Delta. In 2021, during the fourth wave of Covid-19 in the Southern provinces, with their community responsibility, Sovico Group, HDBank and its member units also promptly supported Southwestern provinces with medical equipment like ambulances and ventilators…. worth more than VND35 billion.
