New Car Hailing Services from D2 Lane at Tan Son Nhat Airport Launched

Gojek, Southeast Asia’s leading on-demand platform, today announced the official launch of its GoCar service type from the D2 lane at Tan Son Nhat airport, Ho Chi Minh City. The availability of this service type is expected to support thousands of passengers arriving at the airport’s domestic and international terminals each day.

Gojek will offer GoCar services at 7 pick-up points in the D2 lane, between columns G6 to B6, at the domestic terminal. For international arrivals, GoCar services will be available at 5 pick-up points, from column 9 to column 12.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Head of Drivers, Gojek Vietnam, said: “With the number of passengers arriving into Tan Son Nhat increasing, the launch of our GoCar service type at the airport will help to meet the growing demand for ride-hailing services into Ho Chi Minh, as well as supporting efforts to control and manage traffic. We are sincerely grateful to the airport management unit for their partnership and cooperation in helping us quickly deploy operations at lane D2 - enabling users to access GoCar services more conveniently, and helping us to provide access to more income opportunities for our driver-partners.”

To assist passengers, Gojek representatives will be on hand at the D2 lane to help them find their correct pick-up location and support in controlling and managing the traffic flow at D2 lane. Users can opt-in to Gojek’s new "on-time guarantee" feature which entitles them to a VND20,000 voucher if their car arrives at least 10 minutes later than the estimated arrival time, and can also enjoy up to 50% off their GoCar from the airport by using the code GOJEKNHA.

Passengers arriving at the domestic terminal and looking to use GoCar services should head towards the TCP building, the D2 lane is located on the ground floor from cell 5 to 11, corresponding to column B6 to column G6.
